INSTASTUFF

oh what a night
Every time I arrive at the Osaka station the familiar smells comfort me, but also leave me with pangs of sorrow knowing I won’t satisfy all of my Osaka cravings in my short time in the city. Never one to be defeated before I start, I am always determined to get a taste of as much as I can while I am in town.
I was so happy to leave the hustle and bustle of Tokyo to experience Japan away from the hoards of tourists. First stop on my jam packed itinerary was Fukuoka known for its Hakata (tonkotsu) ramen. I ate this and so much more during my brief 2 night stay in the city.
While my trip isn’t over,I think I can declare my favorite moment has been devouring my ikura uni don under the sakura trees while gazing at the field of tulips down to the Kammon Straights. The trip to Karato Market where I bought my delights was pretty amazing as well
Of course an action-packed week in YVR with @glenkos meant lots of great times chatting & laughing with a drink in hand. We only scratched the surface of great places to drink in YVR with so many more gems to share next time!
It’s been 5 years since @glenkos last visited YVR so I was determined to delight her with deliciousness. It was hard to narrow down the choices but I knew I also needed to hold back some gems to entice her to come back again soon!
